There’s something quietly magical about fungi. Their resilience, mystery, and ability to thrive in hidden places has long captivated me. This mushroom series grew from that fascination, each piece hand painted in encaustic onto vintage retro cookie tins, giving forgotten objects a new story. Layers of molten beeswax, pigment, and history merge together, where woodland wonder meets nostalgic domestic charm. No two tins are ever alike, each carrying its own patina, character, and whispered memories from another era.
