Vintage Kodak Camera

This encaustic artwork was inspired by a repile I did on a house I own in Newtown, Wellington. I kept the old relics found on the job site and incorporated them into the artwork, paying homage to the house and history. Newspaper adverts from the 1950’s, taken from under the carpet to stop drafts from the floor boards is used as a background, as are the floorboards used as my substrate to paint on.
