Christchurch Artshow 2025 - Studio Reset will be exhibiting her new Vintage Collection

So excited to bring my Vintage Collection to Christchurch!

Backstory to the series: recently an early 1900’s rental property of mine underwent a full repile. During the excavation I was collecting treasures found from the site and felt inspired to create a collection of encaustic artworks from them. Old papers from the 1950’s, bottles, keys etc. were photographed in my studio and married together with beeswax pigments and old newspaper advertising to create nostalgia and pay homage to its past. I painted these artworks on the remnants of the lifted Rimu floorboards from the old house.
